Blanár is scheduled to hold five rounds of bilateral talks in Brunei with counterparts from Philippines, Laos, East Timor, and Singapore. “Slovak diplomacy must be active. That’s why we maintain an open and constructive dialogue with all partners interested in cooperation that brings tangible benefits to Slovak citizens and the economy,” he wrote on social media.
At the EU–ASEAN meeting in Brunei, ministers will discuss global and regional challenges including security, digital transformation and the climate agenda. Blanár is also due to open a new Slovak embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
