Prime Minister Robert Fico has begun an official visit to Vietnam, accompanied by several ministers and a business delegation.
The visit includes meetings with Vietnamese officials and the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with his counterpart, Le Minh Hung. Fico also highlighted Vietnam as Slovakia’s largest trading partner in Southeast Asia.
His programme includes the opening of a Slovak-Vietnamese business forum.
According to the Denník N daily, Robert Fico and Robert Kaliňák were greeted at the airport in Vietnam also by Quang Le Hong, a former advisor to Fico. German police consider Quang Le Hong to be one of the organizers of the kidnapping of a Vietnamese citizen in Slovakia and a liaison for the Vietnamese secret service.
