Delegates at the 31st congress of the Slovak National Party re-elected Andrej Danko as party leader for another four years.
Danko said the party aims to offer an alternative in national, Christian and social policy. He also claimed that Slovakia is stagnating under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Fico.
At the same time, Danko expressed support for the current governing coalition, saying he believes Fico will “wake up.”
According to parliamentary caucus chairman Roman Michelko, the SNS will not automatically support all coalition bills in parliament.
