Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico (SMER-SD) travels to Paris on Tuesday to attend the second Nuclear Energy Summit. The event focuses on strengthening the global role of nuclear power under the theme “Safe and Affordable Nuclear Energy for All.” During his visit, Fico is also expected to meet Ursula von der Leyen.
On the sidelines of the summit, representatives of Slovakia’s Research Institute of Nuclear Energy known as VUJE and Framatome will sign a memorandum on continued cooperation in the nuclear energy sector. The signing will also be attended by French Industry Minister Roland Lescure.
