Slovakia has carried out its 15th repatriation flight from the Middle East, bringing 79 people from Muscat in Oman to Bratislava on Monday, including 70 Slovak citizens. According to the Foreign Ministry, a total of 641 people have been evacuated so far, among them 491 Slovaks and citizens of 30 other countries. Further repatriation flights are planned in the coming days from Dubai, where the largest number of Slovaks currently waiting to return home are registered.
Meanwhile, State Secretary Marek Eštok met Egypt’s ambassador to Slovakia Walid Mohamed Ismail Mahmoud and praised Egypt for its cooperation on evacuation and medical flights from the Gaza Strip. The talks also focused on strengthening bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
