Volunteers have delivered a record convoy of evacuation ambulances and medical equipment to Ukraine as part of the OKSANA 50 public fundraiser. In total, 72 evacuation ambulances, 110 specialised medical backpacks and charging stations were transported by 87 volunteer drivers.
Organisers say the ambulances have a civilian appearance because military-looking vehicles often become targets of Russian attacks. The vehicles are used to evacuate wounded soldiers and civilians from frontline areas, including near Kherson. Each ambulance is equipped with a specialised CLS backpack containing essential medical supplies such as tourniquets, bandages and medicines needed by frontline paramedics.
