Canadian rating agency Morningstar DBRS has maintained Slovakia's rating at A (low) with a stable outlook. This is a confirmation of the assessment it gave to the Slovak Republic in August 2025, the press service of the Ministry of Finance (MF) of the Slovak Republic reported. "The stable trend in Slovakia's rating reflects Morningstar DBRS's view that the country's solid macroeconomic characteristics and ongoing efforts at fiscal consolidation balance the challenges in the short-term economic outlook and persistent fiscal pressures," the agency said in the assessment. It recalled that Slovakia's institutional and economic framework is anchored in its membership in the European Union (EU), the Eurozone and NATO.
