President Peter Pellegrini said he supports Prime Minister Robert Fico’s efforts to prepare measures that boost economic growth. Pellegrini welcomed the idea of a package of steps to strengthen the economy, attract investment and help businesses and entrepreneurs. He spoke about this in the Sunday political discussion show on private TV Joj 24. The president said economic consolidation is never easy and should include views of those affected. He stressed that tax changes must be effective and real. Pellegrini wants experts, including from abroad, to help shape the growth measures.
