Thirteenth and fourteenth salaries, vacation contributions and zero-interest loans were among fringe benefits which decided that one of Europe’s best employers comes, for the first time, from Slovakia. The Bratislava-based Volkswagen Slovakia scooped the award Ruban D’Honnerur in the category Employer of the Year in the European contest European Business Awards, brings the Hospodarske Noviny Daily.
And on the back of that story – more and more new cars are being sold in Slovakia. This is information from the Association of the Automobile Industry in Slovakia which claims they have recorded a rise in the amount of new cars sold in Slovakia in May thus reaching almost the same number from a year ago. This is in strong contrast to the situation and the development of sales in the rest of Europe.
