Slovak and Italian representatives signed a founding charter for an association to assist Slovak and Italian entrepreneurs on Tuesday.
The signing took place at an economic forum focused on the sector of the sustainable "green construction industry and sustainable tourism" during a foreign trip by Parliamentary Chair Richard Raši (Hlas-SD) to Rome.
"The charter will form the basis for setting up a chamber that will operate here, directly in Italy. The chamber will create the conditions for our Slovak companies to establish themselves here, to find a base where they can obtain information, find partners and sign contracts," stated Raši.
The association will be based in Rome. Its objectives will be to promote trade and economic relations and to facilitate exchanges and access for Italian and Slovak companies to each other's markets. It will also organise events and provide consulting services.
