Health Minister Kamil Šaško (Hlas-SD) has ordered an internal audit of relevant public procurements in the healthcare sector over the past few months. The move follows a suggestion from Health Ministry employees, who pointed out possible irregularities in the assessment and implementation of public procurement procedures, and is also intended to ensure the highest standards of transparency and cost-effectiveness, TASR was told by the ministry’s spokesperson, Veronika Daničová, on Friday.
