Ski conditions in Slovakia are steadily improving, with more than 40 resorts now open. However, about half are still operating with limited slope access, as runs are opening gradually. Resorts continue intensive snowmaking, and fresh natural snowfall may help in the coming days. Several ski centres have just launched their season, with snow depths of up to 50 centimetres on artificial bases. Better conditions are reported in northern mountain areas. Many resorts are also offering daily evening skiing during the holidays. Ski pass prices are slightly higher during peak season.
