Russian attacks on the port city of Odesa on Friday night damaged a vessel flying the Slovak flag, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba said in a statement on Telegram. Slovakia’s Foreign Ministry told the TASR news agency that, according to available information, no one was on board the ship at the time of the attack. The ministry added that the vessel was operated exclusively by Ukrainian nationals and that no Slovak citizens are currently on or employed on the ship. The ministry added that it is monitoring the situation in cooperation with the Slovak Embassy in Kyiv.
