According to a representative public opinion poll conducted by the AKO agency for TASR, 52.3 percent of respondents believe that ending the war in Ukraine in 2026 would have a positive impact on the Slovak economy. By contrast, 38 percent of those surveyed expect the impact to be negative. The poll was conducted between December 9 and 16, 2025, on a sample of 1,000 respondents.
