The government's CSIRT cyber unit in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCKB) SK-CERT are handling a cyber attack on the Economy Ministry's servers, posted Investments, Regional Development and Informatisation Minister Samuel Migal (Independent) on Tuesday.
"At the moment, we cannot provide more detailed information so as not to jeopardise the ongoing investigation," stated Migal.
The Computer Security Incident Response Team Slovakia (CSIRT.SK) is the government's unit set up under the Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry (MIRRI) to provide services related to handling security incidents, such as eliminating their consequences and restoring the operation of public administration information systems.
