Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD) is scheduled to attend a working programme in Brussels on Wednesday (3 December) at which he'll represent Slovakia at a meeting of foreign ministers of NATO-member countries.
The main topics will be strengthening the collective defence of the allies, prospects for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine, including assistance for Kyiv, as well as cooperation with Indo-Pacific partners and the situation in the Western Balkans. The programme will also include a working lunch of the NATO-Ukraine Council with the participation of the EU's chief diplomat Kaja Kallas.
As part of his working programme in Brussels, Blanár will also hold bilateral talks with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.
