Slovakia’s largest indoor Christmas market opens on Thursday at Incheba in Bratislava and runs until 14 December. Visitors can enjoy traditional crafts, handmade decorations, winter fashion, cosmetics and plenty of festive food and drinks. This year’s edition also brings a Dubai perfume collection, weekend craft shows, a prize raffle and mystery gift boxes from 5 December.
According to a new survey by the agency 2mouse for E-commerce Slovakia, Slovaks plan to spend an average of 220 euros on Christmas gifts this year, up from 204 euros in 2024. Lower-income households expect to spend around 100 euros less. Most people (88%) still give gifts, with cash, cosmetics and clothing among the most common choices.
