Comenius University in Bratislava has been ranked in two international university charts. In the subject edition of the Shanghai Ranking (Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, GRAS) for 2025, the university achieved excellent rankings in two subjects. It also ranked 824th in the QS World University Rankings Sustainability 2026. The university placed in the 301–400 range for physics and 401–500 for psychology, showing that the Comenius University improved by a hundred places compared to the previous ranking. In addition, the Comenius University improved its position in the QS World University Rankings Sustainability 2026, which evaluates universities in terms of their social and environmental impact The rating includes universities as educational and research centers, but also as large employers that implement sustainability strategies in their operations.
