The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava is bringing a Finnish expert into its leadership team. From January, Professor Jari Hämäläinen — a former vice-rector of Finland’s LUT University — will advise on strategic development and international cooperation.
The move aims to boost the university’s global standing, improve research and innovation, and strengthen ties with foreign partners.
Rector Maximilián Strémy says learning from successful universities abroad is key to improving education and competitiveness at home.
