Slovak Parliamentary Speaker Richard Raši (Hlas-SD) met Polish President Karol Nawrocki in Bratislava on Wednesday to discuss stronger cooperation at the parliamentary, regional, and European levels. Raši praised Nawrocki for choosing Slovakia for his first official visit within the Visegrad Four and wished him success in his new role. He said open and regular dialogue must remain the foundation of Slovak-Polish relations, noting that ties between the two countries have grown stronger over the past three decades. Raši also called Poland a regional leader in defense and security and a key partner for Slovakia. During his visit, Nawrocki also met President Peter Pellegrini and Prime Minister Robert Fico.
