Slovak President Peter Pellegrini will travel to Prague on Tuesday for a working visit. He’s set to meet Czech President Petr Pavel to discuss strengthening regional, cross-border, academic, and scientific cooperation between Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as well as collaboration within the Visegrad Group and the Slavkov format.
Pellegrini will also meet ANO leader Andrej Babiš, whose party recently won the Czech elections, to discuss the formation of a new government and future bilateral ties. During his visit, the President will attend a concert by the Košice State Philharmonic at Prague’s historic Municipal House, where the First Czechoslovak Republic was declared in 1918.
