Slovan Bratislava suffered a second defeat in the main stage of the Conference League, losing 1-0 to Alkmaar in the Netherlands. The only goal came in the 44th minute. Slovan’s goalkeeper Takáč saved a penalty, but defender Cruz was sent off with a red card late in the match. Coach Vladimír Weiss will look to bounce back in the next fixture.
