Parliament has approved an amendment to the Mountain Rescue Service Act, raising the mandatory helmet age for skiers from 15 to 18 years. The law also aims to improve rescue efficiency and prevent misuse of the HZS name and emblem. It establishes a new National Association of Mountain Rescuers, which will oversee safety standards and training. The amendment also allows rescuers to use drones during operations in mountain areas.
