The Slovak President’s Office said President Peter Pellegrini did not criticize any EU member during his visit to North Macedonia, but restated Slovakia’s long-term support for the Western Balkans’ EU integration.
Responding to Bulgaria’s protest, the office said bilateral issues should be resolved through dialogue and respect. It added that EU credibility depends on fair and consistent accession rules for all candidate countries.
