Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák confirmed that Slovakia signed two major defense agreements during the NATO ministerial meeting in Brussels. The first, worth around €30 million, was concluded with Croatia’s state agency Alan for the supply of high-quality fabrics to produce new uniforms for Slovak soldiers over the next eight years. Slovakia also signed a memorandum with several NATO countries to boost cooperation and support its defense industry, especially the Military Technical and Testing Institute, which aims to become a NATO center of excellence for artillery and munitions.
