Slovak Parliament Speaker Richard Raši (Hlas) met in Paris with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and French Senate President Gérard Larcher to discuss closer cooperation and shared European priorities.
Raši proposed hosting the next OECD Economic Survey for Slovakia in the National Council and confirmed participation in the OECD Global Parliamentary Network in 2026. He said Slovakia wants to use OECD expertise to improve its legislation.
In talks with Gérard Larcher, both leaders emphasized keeping Europe competitive while protecting social standards. Larcher also highlighted the long friendship between Slovakia and France, tracing it back to Milan Rastislav Štefánik and the early days of Czechoslovakia.
