Slovakia had no representative at the EU and European Political Community summit in Copenhagen, drawing criticism from the opposition. Ivan Korčok of Progressive Slovakia stressed that if the Prime Minister could not attend, he should have appointed a substitute. The Government Office must clearly present Slovakia’s position on security measures. According to Korčok, the government is acting inconsistently, for example by failing to request participation in NATO’s anti-drone defence initiative.
