EU Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, arrived in Slovakia on Thursday (September 11) for an official visit. He was scheduled to meet with Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Hlas) to discuss key migration issues, including the status of Ukrainians in Slovakia, progress in the implementation of the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum, and the urgent need for agreement on the Return Regulation.
Brunner will also participate in a Youth Policy Dialogue with young people from over ten organizations. He stressed the importance of youth in shaping Europe's future and the value of incorporating their voices into EU policymaking.
