Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD) has opened the fifth year of the Štefan Osuský Summer School of Diplomacy, with 29 participants from 17 state institutions active in the field of foreign relations to attend the week-long programme this year.
The foreign affairs minister also stressed the need to prepare young employees in the service of Slovakia in a high-quality manner.
"Work on yourselves, seek out information, and strive to be better than us, because the generation that I represent will eventually be replaced by a new one," the minister told the participants in this year's summer school.
