Slovakia has been one of the countries supporting Ukraine in various ways, including arms supplies and humanitarian aid. President Peter Pellegrini expressed his concerns about the Ukrainian attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline, which threaten the stability of Slovakia’s economy. He stated on social media that he hopes Ukrainian officials will realize the negative impact of such actions on Slovakia.
Pellegrini further emphasized his hope for a ceasefire in Ukraine and expressed support for peace efforts led by US President Donald Trump and his partners. The president also praised Trump's strong stance on the attacks, noting that Slovakia’s economy and energy infrastructure are deeply dependent on the pipeline.
