Slovakia’s Ongoing Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict in October 2023, Slovakia has been actively providing humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip. The Foreign Ministry's press department confirmed this on Sunday, noting that Minister Juraj Blanár condemned the suffering of innocent civilians in Gaza.

Slovakia's humanitarian assistance, totaling nearly €200,000, includes financial, material, and medical support. The first part of the aid consisted of a €100,000 financial contribution to the World Food Programme for urgent food assistance. The second part involved nearly 17 tonnes of material aid, worth over €93,000, including food, water containers, blankets, and medical supplies. Slovakia has also organized seven medical evacuations of child patients from Gaza in cooperation with partner countries.
