The Druzhba oil pipeline was attacked again on Thursday near the Belarusian border, TASR reported, citing Economy Minister Denisa Saková (Voice-SD). Saková said pumping would soon be halted and the extent of the damage is being assessed.
Earlier this week, oil supplies to Slovakia through the pipeline were suspended due to damage at a transformer station in Russia. The Ukrainian military confirmed it carried out a strike on a pumping station in Russia’s Tambov region, temporarily halting oil flows. Supplies resumed on Tuesday evening.
