Slovakia Confirms Halt in Russian Oil Supplies After Druzhba Strike

The Ukrainian military announced it had attacked the Nikolskoye pumping station overnight with drone units. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the facility supports Russian military operations in Ukraine. The strike reportedly caused a fire and led to a complete suspension of oil flows through the pipeline, which supplies several European countries, including Slovakia.

Slovak Economy Minister Denisa Saková confirmed on Tuesday an interruption of Russian oil deliveries via the Druzhba pipeline, following a Ukrainian strike on infrastructure in Russia’s Tambov region. She also noted it was the second such incident in a week affecting Druzhba facilities on Russian territory and said Moscow is expected to restore operations in the coming days, attributing the outage to transformer station damage.
