Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has congratulated Karol Nawrocki on officially assuming office as President of Poland. In a statement released by the Slovak Presidential Office on Wednesday, President Pellegrini wished his Polish counterpart good health, determination, and success in fulfilling his mandate. He also reaffirmed Slovakia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Poland and confirmed an invitation for Nawrocki to pay an official visit to Slovakia.
Karol Nawrocki took his presidential oath before a joint session of the Sejm and Senate on Wednesday morning, formally beginning his term as Poland’s head of state.
