The Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs is broadening its economic diplomacy beyond Europe and North America to include the Indo-Pacific and rapidly growing markets in Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
Last year, Slovakia opened six new embassies in Algeria, Australia, Belgium, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Tanzania. This year, two more missions are being re-established in Ethiopia and Kuwait, said Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD).
