Largest Evacuation Operation Carried Out

Slovakia has successfully carried out the largest evacuation operation in its history from the conflict-ridden Middle East, bringing 266 people from Slovakia and 27 other countries to safety. The Foreign Ministry praised the professionalism of its crisis management and the cooperation with international partners that made the mission possible. Slovakia received recognition both at the European and global levels, along with dozens of letters of gratitude. Diplomats, crisis teams, and Slovak soldiers stationed in Cyprus played a key role in the operation.
