Parliament should address opposition motions for a no-confidence vote in the government and the dismissal of four ministers during its September session, House Chair Richard Raši (HLAS) said Sunday. The targeted ministers oversee defense, environment, interior, and culture.
Raši stated that the debates, previously postponed at the coalition’s request, should now proceed. He also noted that several opposition proposals were skipped last session because their sponsors – including MPs from the Slovakia party – were absent.
The September agenda is also expected to include a vote on the “COVID amnesty” bill returned by President Peter Pellegrini, and a proposed constitutional amendment.
