Ursula von der Leyen remains President of the European Commission, as the motion of no confidence in the European Parliament did not receive sufficient support. Of the 553 MEPs present, 175 voted in favour of the motion, 360 were against it, and 18 abstained. Among Slovak MEPs, the motion was supported by members of the ruling coalition and the Republika movement, while Progressive Slovakia and Miriam Lexmann of the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) opposed it.
