The Vatican has approved public veneration of the Virgin Mary on Mount Zvir in Litmanová, thirty years after her last reported apparitions at the site. Until now, expressions of devotion in the local church had only been approved by the Greek Catholic Archbishop of Prešov. The Vatican’s official recognition had been absent.
