Foreign trade between Slovakia and Croatia has topped one billion euro in recent years. But there’s still room to grow, said President Peter Pellegrini on Tuesday at the opening of the Slovak-Croatian Business Forum, alongside Croatian President Zoran Milanović.
Pellegrini said the forum aims to strengthen economic ties and launch new joint projects. He warned it would be a missed opportunity if cooperation remained focused solely on tourism, noting that Slovak companies are already investing in Croatia.
The president highlighted nuclear energy, e-mobility infrastructure, and renewables as especially promising areas.
