Slovakia has submitted its sixth application for funding from the European Recovery and Resilience Plan, requesting €977 million. This is the largest single request to date, according to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Recovery Plan, Peter Kmec (HLAS).
Kmec confirmed that Slovakia is on track with the timetable agreed with the European Commission, with five previous payment requests already approved. The sixth application, covering 31 milestones, includes projects such as the energy-efficient renovation of homes and the restoration of historic public buildings.
There are still three more payment requests remaining, with the country set to receive a total of €6.4 billion.
