Slovakia is on track to utilise all available EU funds in the current programming period, Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) announced on Monday. According to Investments Minister Samuel Migaľ (HLAS) Slovakia can ensure that €12 billion in EU funds remain in the country without needing to return any to the EU budget.
The Prime Minister praised the acceleration of the drawing of EU funds, noting that Slovakia is at risk of losing €700 million if not fully utilised.
