Slovak President Peter Pellegrini presented credentials on Monday at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava to eight new ambassadors representing Slovakia in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
The following ambassadors will represent Slovakia abroad: Elchin Gasymov (Republic of Azerbaijan), Milan Lajčiak (People’s Republic of China), Juraj Siváček (Islamic Republic of Iran), Maroš Mitrík (Republic of Kenya), Pavol Pavlis (Hungary), Iveta Hricová (Republic of North Macedonia), Soňa Budayová (Swiss Confederation), and Alexander Micovčin (Kingdom of Thailand).
