Slovakia is organizing an evacuation flight from Amman, Jordan to Bratislava on Monday, June 16, announced the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Seats on the flight will also be available for Czech citizens. The Slovak Foreign Ministry has declined to release further details for security reasons.
Amid the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, the Slovak Ministry warns of the closure of airspace and the suspension of commercial flights to several countries in the region, including Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria.
The Ministry advises Slovak citizens in crisis areas to seek safety immediately and avoid large gatherings. In case of emergencies, the Ministry recommends contacting the International Crisis Operations Centre, which provides travel advisories and other information on its website.
