If general elections had been held in June, Progressive Slovakia (PS) would have won with 20.2 percent of the vote, followed by the Smer-SD party, supported by 18.8 percent of voters, according to a Focus agency poll conducted for the 360tka news portal.

A total of seven parties would have entered Parliament.

The third largest support would have gone to the Hlas-SD party with 10.5 percent of the vote. Also making it to Parliament would have been the far-right Republic party (9.7 percent), 'Slovakia' party (8.5 percent), KDH (7.5 percent), and SaS (6.1 percent).

Among the parties that would have stayed outside Parliament are Magyar Szovetseg–Hungarian Alliance (4.8 percent), Democrats (4.8 percent), the Slovak National Party (SNS, 3.7 percent), and Sme rodina party (3.4 percent).

Based on the poll results, PS would have gained 37 seats in parliament, Smer-SD 35, and Hlas-SD 19. Republic would have garnered 18 seats, Slovakia 16, KDH 14 and SaS 11 seats.

The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,034 respondents between June 2 and 9.
