Foreign Minister awards medals for contributions to Slovak diplomacy

On May 29, Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár awarded commemorative medals to individuals who have promoted Slovakia abroad, represented the country internationally, or supported Slovak citizens overseas. In his speech, he praised their long-term contributions.

Gold medals were awarded to Ambassador Jozef Božek for his diplomatic service and to Paralympic Committee Chair Ján Riapoš for promoting Slovak athletes globally.

Silver medals went to expert Elena Sopková, violinist Dalibor Karvay, and honorary consuls Adam Góral (Poland), Michael Martinček (Canada), and Wieslaw Olszewski (Poland) for strengthening Slovak interests and international ties.
