Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) left for an official visit to Armenia on Sunday afternoon. Fico is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian and Premier Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan. Deepening of bilateral relations and intensification of economic cooperation between the countries will be high on the agenda of their talks. Geopolitical issues will be discussed, as well as Armenia's cooperation with the European Union. Fico will also lay a wreath at the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915-18.
