Speaker of the Slovak National Council, Richard Raši, continued his official visit to China on Thursday by opening Slovakia’s national pavilion at the 4th China-CEEC EXPO in Ningbo. This international fair, focused on cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, also hosts a major consumer goods exhibition. In his speech, Raši described the event as a platform for trust and future collaboration in areas like transport, research, and agri-industrial innovation. He emphasized that Slovakia is showcasing not only its economic potential but also values such as quality, sustainability, and respect for tradition. Raši noted that China is Slovakia’s largest trading partner in Asia, and stressed the need for more balanced trade, with a greater presence of Slovak products in the Chinese market. The Slovak pavilion, organized by the SARIO agency, features 44 exhibitors from food, tech, design sectors, and includes Slovak universities and innovation leaders.
