The Slovak Ministry of Transport has achieved 40% of its government program goals after a year and a half in office, Prime Minister Robert Fico said following a review with Transport Minister Jozef Ráž. Key successes include passing the Strategic Investments Act, a new construction law speeding up building processes, and launching state-supported rental housing projects. Bratislava Airport returned to profit last year, and several highway sections, including parts of D1 and R2, are planned for completion by the end of 2025. The ministry is also working on relocating the Bratislava port and aims to start a Bratislava-Košice flight route by October. Further projects include bridge repairs through PPP and the Prievidza bypass.
