During his visit to China, Parliament Speaker Richard Raši reaffirmed Slovakia’s commitment to the One China policy and expressed readiness to deepen strategic cooperation with Beijing. At a meeting with Zhao Leji, head of China’s top legislative body, Raši emphasized Slovakia's interest in expanding ties in trade, innovation, and culture. He highlighted the importance of attracting Chinese investments, especially in research and modern technologies, naming projects by Volvo/Geely and Gotion as key examples. Zhao praised the elevation of Slovak-Chinese relations to a strategic partnership and said China hopes Slovakia will support stronger China-EU ties.
